March Jam Session
Come get your Irish eyes a smilin' at this month's jam session on Thursday, March 16th. It will be held at the Provo City Library in room 201 at 7:00. We look forward to another fun evening of music. Celtic Barn Dance In honor of St. Patrick's Day, our March barn dance will have a Celtic theme with all tunes originating from Ireland and Scotland. We're even working on getting some Irish Step dancers to come demonstrate their intricate footwork as they dance a jig, reel and hornpipe. Think along the lines of Riverdance, and you'll have an idea of this form of dance. Mark your calendar for March 3rd at 7:00. We invite you to bring a potluck snack to share - the greener the better with a nod to St. Patrick. You can reach Sheri at 489-6836 or via email at Winners will be determined by audience response, so you'll want to bring a large contingent of fans to cheer you on. Pizza certificates will be awarded to winners throughout the day. That evening a concert featuring the bands Lincoln Highway and Mason Dixon will round out the day of music. Admission will be $1.00 for the day performances or $5.00 for a full event pass. Evening admission is $5.00 per person or $20.00 per family. All proceeds will go toward purchasing a Fall Fiddle Fest street banner.
