The Barn in Mapleton

February Barn Dance

Come start the month of February off on the right foot, literally, by coming to the Barn Dance this Friday, February 1st from 7-9. The Cluffs will be the featured band for the evening, but as always, other musicians are welcomed and encouraged to join in. Please remember to bring a snack to share with your fellow dancers and musicians. You’ll want your heart to be in great shape this Valentine’s Day, so come get it pumping at the dance. Besides, you just might meet someone special!

The Institute of American Music was founded in 1993 for the purpose of providing individuals and groups the opportunity to study traditional American and Bluegrass music. It provides a forum for students at all skill levels whereby they may learn from one another through means of individual lessons, group performances and informal workshops. The Institute provides a well-rounded musical experience for those desiring to develop their talents in acoustic music. For more information about I.A.M. call Mark Geslison at 375-1188.
