Fall Fiddlefest Coming In November The Fall Fiddlefest will be held November 1st at the Tahitian Noni Auditorium at Riverwoods in Provo. Performances will begin at 1:00 and continue throughout the afternoon. Performers should prepare 3 tunes lasting no more than 10 minutes total. Please contact Sheri Cluff at 471-7008 or via email at sacluff@msn.com to reserve your time slot. The performance times will be scheduled on a first come first served basis, so don’t delay in contacting Sheri. Since this is not a competition, there are no registration forms or fees to worry about, however there is a $1.00 admission for the afternoon and $5.00 for the evening concert. Or, you can purchase an all-day event ticket for $5.00, which gets you into all the performances. We’re also offering a $25.00 family ticket. Door prizes from The Acoustic Musician will given out that night. The evening concert will feature three bands: “Mountain Strings” the BYU touring ensemble, “The Cluffs” winners of the Byron Anderson Old Time Youth and Family Band Competition, and the headliner band for the evening, “Fire on the Mountain”.
In the spring of 2009 we’ll resume the band competition Fiddlefest–so start planning now for the tunes you’ll play to win BIG MONEY! For more information and directions concerning the Fall Fiddlefest, please check out the website below:
