Fiddle Four String Quartet

Fiddlin’ Four is a folk-style string quartet. The quartet members are Mandy Hofheins on cello; Alexa Knaupp on violin; Miriam Wagstaff on violin; and Emily Lambert on viola. The music played by the quartet is based on fiddle tunes from Ireland, Scotland, Canada, and the U.S. All four members are former and current music students at Brigham Young University (BYU). The idea behind Fiddlin’ Four was to create a string quartet with a whole new sound. Since fiddle music tends to be fun to play, the arrangements that Fiddlin’ Four plays are not only fun to play, they’re fun for an audience to hear. This is definitely a toe-tapping quartet!
